Meet the designer

I’m a designer who’s done it all — from shaping visual identities to solving complex product challenges. Thirteen years, three roles, one goal: create experiences people enjoy using.

Designing with purpose

I design with one thing in mind: making the complex feel simple. With a strong eye for detail and a deep appreciation for usability, I focus on creating products that are clear, intuitive, and — hopefully — delightful to use.

Whether I’m wireframing a new feature or refining micro-interactions, I love those small decisions that make an experience feel just right. And since great design is never really finished, I’m always learning, testing, and iterating to make every version better than the last.

Beyond the screen

When I’m not designing, you’ll usually find me riding my motorcycle, exploring new video games, or spending time with my family. I’ve got a natural curiosity about how things work, and I live by the idea that “knowledge doesn’t take up space” — you never know when something random will spark a great solution.

How I work

To me, design is about bringing order to chaos. Big, messy problems don’t scare me — I break them down into small, manageable questions and solve them one at a time.

I start with research and rough sketches, collaborate early with engineers to catch potential pitfalls, and iterate until the solution is both usable and buildable. My mantra? Great design is invisible. If users get their job done without noticing the design, I’ve succeeded.

Experience

Senior Product Designer, Nasdaq

Jan 2021 — April 2025

  • Owned multiple design initiatives across Nasdaq Data Link, delivering polished, high-impact product experiences for institutional users and data consumers.
  • Led the end-to-end design of Data Link Manager, a tool for configuring complex dataset access across global financial clients. Shipped improvements that reduced onboarding friction and enhanced trust in entitlement management.
  • Drove user journey mapping, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI for core features—collaborating daily with product, engineering, compliance, and customer success teams.
  • Used Figma, Miro, and prototyping tools to rapidly explore concepts, organize documentation, and present design direction to stakeholders across the org.

Marketing / Product Designer, Quandl Inc.

May 2019 — Jan 2021

  • Played a key role in rebranding and replatforming Quandl to Nasdaq Data Link, defining new interaction patterns and content architecture for the productʼs public-facing interface.
  • Worked cross-functionally on core features like dataset search, product comparison, and onboarding flows—building journey maps and conducting usability sessions to shape direction.
  • Partnered with product and engineering to scope and deliver incremental improvements to internal-facing tooling used by sales and support teams.

Designer, HM&E Design

Sept 2012 – Feb 2019

  • Led projects from concept to release, translating client briefs into print and digital deliverables.
  • Presented creative concepts directly to clients and supported request-for-proposal responses.
  • Provided on-set art direction and implemented client brand systems across new collateral.
  • Iterated on designs based on feedback from clients and the creative director.
